Overview

Our Harvest the Hunter Horse and Carriage Wine Tour offered by Hunter Valley Horses is a unique way to experience the Hunter Valley with its beautiful scenery and award-winning wine and produce. If you want to fit as much into your visit to the Hunter Valley as you can, this is the perfect tour - it runs for 3 hours and includes tastings at 3 venues ( 2 x wine tastings, 1 x cheese and chocolate tasting), you'll never want it to end!

Meeting points

This tour departs from just behind the Wine House Hunter Valley at 426 McDonald's road Pokolbin, follow the driveway past the Wine House building until you see the carriages, If the horses and carriage are not there on your arrival, please wait we won't be far away.

    SUMMARY OF ALL INCLUSIONS If you want to fit as much into your visit to the Hunter Valley as you can, this is the perfect tour - it runs for 3 hours and includes tastings at 3 venues, you'll never want it to end! The venues we visit are dependent on availability and may include Pokolbin Estate, Tamburlaine Organic Wines, McGuigan Wines, Sobels Wines, Pokolbin Village Smelly Cheese, the Pokolbin Chocolate shop, the Pokolbin Chocolate Factory or The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard. Most of our venues provide our groups with private sit-down tastings where you will learn about the processes involved in making these beautiful wines.

Wonderful experience, great wine!

No reason to drink, rush and drive when Jade and her two horses, Rocky and Jack, can take you on a lovely carriage ride to 2 of the best vineyards where the tastings were very generous and the treats were great! Thanks Jade for a great afternoon!!!

Had a wonderful time with Jade, Max and Banjo. We were so impressed that the tour went ahead with only 2 of us. So many places cancel when not enough people book. Jade was in informative, funny and very capable leading the horses. Most enjoyable morning with her and the horses, would highly recommend doing this tour.

Such an awesome experience! Liam, our guide, was an excellent host- friendly, knowledgeable about the local area and showed us a real passion for horses. Banjo and Max were also beautiful hosts and it was so nice to get to give them a scratch. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique, relaxed adventure. Oh, and the wines, chocolates and cheeses were pretty great, too!
