Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi

Day 1 Itinerary : Arrival transfer + Witness cremation rituals + Attend evening aarti ceremony On arrival at Varanasi airport you will be met by our company assistance and transferred to your Hotel [Accommodation will be booked by us and included in this package]. Company representatives cannot come into the baggage collection area. Having cleared immigration, collected your luggage, please make your way towards the exit of the terminal building where you will see a bank of people waiting for you. Amongst them will be a Tour Varanasi’s Representative who will be waiting to greet you with a paging board with your name on. He will meet, greet and take you to your Hotel booked by us and help in check-in formalties. He will explain you further about the tour pick-up time that evening and further.

Ganga Aarti

Later in the evening around 4 PM drive to river bank of Ganges. On arrival at river bank walk into a private balcony of Dashwasamedh Ghat to sit on private chairs reserved with best view of aarti ceremony. Note - We provide private chairs in private balcony with best view of aarti to ensure our guests see it free from crowd hearing all chantings and mantras properly. As the sun dips below the horizon in Varanasi, the Ghats of the Ganges come alive with the Evening Aarti Ceremony. Flames dance in the hands of devout priests, hymns fill the air, and incense weaves mysticism. A mesmerizing spectacle unfolds, where ancient rituals bridge the earthly and the divine, captivating hearts. After this return back to hotel around 08:30 PM. Enjoy your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 02 Itinerary : Sunrise boat ride + Visit to some Temples + Visit to Sarnath + Walking tour 30 minutes prior to sunrise, you will be picked up from your Hotel and drive to river bank of Ganges and embark on a private boat ride to witness the most spiritual and magical sunrise of Varanasi. Varanasi boat ride at the time of sunrise from Dashashwamedh Ghat to Harischandra Ghat is the most resplendent ride that takes you across heritage of Varanasi. This ride starts when the sun is just about to come up the horizon. As you glide across waters you can see entire river being engulfed in orange and red hues of the early morning Sun.

After this step on to Manikarnika Ghat. This ghat, or riverside stairway, is known for its deep spiritual and cultural importance. It's where you'll witness the traditional cremation rituals performed by Hindus, which are believed to help departed souls achieve moksha, or liberation from the cycle of rebirth. Visiting Manikarnika Ghat offers a glimpse into the profound customs and beliefs of Varanasi. After breakfast enjoy city tour of Varanasi visiting Banaras Hindu University – Largest Residential university in India and Asia, Mother India Temple – A 3 digtal map of India Very unique and only of its kind, Tulsi Manas Temple – A former residence of late and great poet and writer Tulsidas, Durga Temple also known as Monkey Temple and finally visit to an Ashram - Residence of Hindu Monks and Pundits.

Later in afternoon visit to Sarnath - is a sacred pilgrimage site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Echoes of enlightenment permeate the ancient stupas, serene gardens, and the Dhamek Stupa. You will see here Ruins of Sarnath, Budhha Temple, large Buddha statue, Archaeological museum and deer park etc. Buddha owns favorite place, Sarnath is among the greatest tourist destinations in Varanasi & has utmost importance in Buddhism religion and culture. Situated 10 kms from Varanasi, Sarnath has religious, cultural and architectural significance. It was in the Deer park in Sarnath where Gautama Buddha delivered his first sermon post-enlightenment. It is a place where from this religion and culture started. The place rose to its significance during reigns of Ashoka who erected numerous stupas here. You will see Ruins of Sarnath, Budhha Temple, large Buddha statue, Archeological museum and deer park. After it return back to Hotel and have some rest.

A superb tour - the exact correct itinerary without being overwhelmed. The tour leader had excellent English, and a stunning knowledge of both Hindu and Buddhist religions. All stated inclusions were delivered. A bonus was meeting the tour leaders manager - in his home - it was a tremendous experience to meet him and his family.

Met at the airport by a company representative and introduced to our driver. Then our guide took over and presented an excellent tour. We were well looked after by our guide, Wasim and driver, Singh. Good view of Aarti from the balcony and just us and one other couple on the sunrise boat to view the Ganges cremation site and candle release. It was extremely busy festival weekend but they navigated the crowds to ensure we got the most out of the trip. Thank you Tour Varanasi

Wonderful experience. The guides was very good and explained with details all the thinks and very helpful. The cars were very good and drivers were professionals. The host invite us to came in his house and we enjoy a very nice diwali night with them. The city is very interesting and amazing. Hotel was perfect. Very indicated!! Book and enjoy.
