Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of beautiful Marina del Rey marina while kayaking or standup paddle boarding. Discover unique sail and power boats and spot local wildlife (sea lions, dolphins and a big variety of birds). Our kayak/SUP tour takes a responsible approach to tourism and environmental stewardship. We're proud to offer a 100% sustainable way to explore Marina del Rey's natural beauty.

Itinerary

You will start the tour from meeting the guide at mellow sandy Mother's beach. The guide will tell you about the local environment and marine life, kayaking/paddle-boarding techniques and safety while enjoying peaceful atmosphere of Los Angeles boaters realm. After that you will board on kayaks and/or SUPs and paddle towards the main channel of the Marina. On the way you will be able to observe all the beautiful and extraordinary boats and search for sea lions, birds, dolphins and other marine life (these are the wild animals and we can't guarantee that you'll see them, but in majority of the time we do). This is a small capacity tour with limited amount of equipment (we have 4 SUPs, 2 double kayaks and 2 single kayaks). Please indicate your choice during the reservation in order to secure the preferred equipment.

Great relaxed SUP and kayak tour

We had a great 2 hour SUP tour with Walker. We toured the Marina Del Ray boats at the Marina at a relaxed pace and Walker pointed out all the marine wildlife and points of interest. Meeting point is by car park 11 and the beach next to the children’s playground I mention this as we were not exactly sure where to go in the beginning.

Beginner-Friendly Adventure!

This was SO much fun! We had never been kayaking or paddle boarding before, but I am happy to say it was very beginner friendly (even for my 65 y/o mom!). We got to see lots of sea lions and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
