Overview

The Yellowstone Day Tour highlights all the colors this park has to offer. A professional guide will drive your group throughout the park as they look for our local critters (e.g. bison, bears, wolves, moose, elk, etc.), while showcasing the best spots for scenic photography. Vortex binoculars will be handed out to each guest so that up-close details won't be missed. This tour includes breakfast sandwiches/burritos on the way up to the park and a picnic lunch on the shores of the Madison River. All national park entrance fees are also included. Prominent stopping points include Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and Yellowstone Lake.

    The Mud Volcano challenges guests to use all their senses as they walk along its board walk while feeling the steam of the geyser and smell its strong sulfuric odor.

We had a fabulous...

We had a fabulous excursion of Yellowstone. It lived up to its name in every way! The private car-driver was a big blessing since we did not have to worry with directions, parking etc. and we had the flexibility to tailor the tour to whatever we wanted to prioritize. Itai (management) was great, and reached out in advance, to ensure our needs were taken care of. And, Bilal was not only an exceptional driver and guide, but friendly and attentive to everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Itai is a great tour guide! Prior to the tour, Itai quickly responded to questions we had regarding our tour. He made the tour so pleasant for us—he picked us up at our hotel and had snacks and drinks for us. He also picked up lunch for us that we had preordered. He loves this region and his appreciation of Yellowstone and Grand Tetons is so obvious! He is very knowledgeable regarding these areas and we learned a lot from him. Itai made the tour so pleasant for us—so glad he did the driving and he knew the best spots to visit. He has a great personality and we would highly recommend him for a tour of Yellowstone/Grand Teton areas.

Excellent adventure and great guide. Saw buffalo, elk, deer, a osprey nest with babies and unexpectedly a lone wolf. Vehicle was new and clean. Guide was knowledgeable and flexible with itinerary. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 7 yr old and 9 yr old) truly enjoyed our Yellowstone tour! From the time we booked, Itai communicated openly with us ensuring we ordered meals, signed waivers and would fit comfortably in Audi W7. Our guide, Billal was professional, friendly and passionate about the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. As a local to Jackson Hole, he was able to give us great tips and insights about the area. He stopped to look for wildlife along the way. Our tour was about 12 hours in total. We hit all the major sites. Because it was a personalized tour, we saved time by our guide dropping us off while he circled for a parking spot. I would definitely recommend Tours in Color if you are looking for a tour from a local guide personalized based on your preferences and previous experiences.
