Overview

The vineyard of Domaine FL (Fournier-Longchamps) extends over nearly 34 hectares, on both sides of the Loire, on a terroir that has been home to vines since the 12th century. Soil on which the chenin blanc, historical grape variety in Anjou, is king! Its complexity and its great aptitude for ageing have always given it a special status.

Itinerary

The Fournier Longchamps winery or domaine FL is a family estate located on the heights of Rochefort sur Loire, near Béhuard and 25 minutes from Angers. Domaine FL seeks to create precise wines flirting with excellence. Our organic vineyard in the 49 produces only organic wines and a wine whose vines are managed according to the precepts of biodynamics. Our organic wines are unique and reflect the prestigious terroir that borders the Loire River. We therefore offer the purchase of sparkling wine, wine from Savennières, the purchase of wine from Savennières Roches aux Moines, the purchase of wine from Coteaux du Layon, the purchase of wine from Coteaux du Layon 1 st Cru Chaume and the purchase of wine from Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru. It is possible to go to Domaine FL to discover our universe, for a wine tasting, a visit of the vineyard or to discover the richness of these wines during a meal or a cooking workshop.

A perfect short tour of the vineyard

We booked this on the same day that we wanted to go (very unplanned) and whilst not being huge wine drinkers, wanted to experience a vineyard in the Loire valley. We arrived and had a private tour which was full of information and interesting. The whole experience was just perfect. We sampled 6 wines in total. Some real variation and depth of quality. Staff couldn't have been any friendlier and knew their stuff! We were made to feel very relaxed and comfortable. Would highly recommend!
