The tour began with a drive through of the Jewish ghettos where we learned about the lives of the people before German occupation and then their fate after. We traveled to the area where they were murdered and visited the memorial there. Afterwards we traveled to the Hill of Angels. There isn't much info about this hill but it is delightful. Over 100 angels of different styles and themes. From the top of the hill you can get your first view of the lake. It was a cold windy day, so before going to the castle, we took a break for lunch. Our guide Adam assisted us in ordering we went to Senoji Kibinine for kibinai (pastry filled with meat) and gira(a beverage made from leftover bread and yeast). Then on to the island to visit the castle. Adam shared stories of the duke and pointed out artifacts. All in all, this was a lovely day
