Our tour guides use the architecture of the buildings to tell the story of Miami Beach and its people. 2. Tour proceeds benefit our non-profit mission of promoting, preserving, and protecting the Miami Beach Art Deco Historic District. 3. Tour tickets include admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop, and the convenience of Welcome Center concierge services. 4. Credentialed through the MDPL Tour Guide Academy, we are twenty passionate volunteer tour guides who collectively have about 200 years of experience.

The Official Art Deco Gift Shop

Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

If you like to learn about the architecture and history of Miami Beach, this tour is perfect for you. I had Julie as my tour guide, she was fun and very knowledgeable! I definitely learned a lot on this tour. The backstory of the preservation league is also worth getting to know.
