Overview

Explora Watersports is one of the only watersports centres located right at the beach at the optimum spot for surfing. Our team are fully qualified and we have new equipment each year. We are a family run business who's aim is to ensure you have a great time on and off the water.

Meeting points

At our watersports centre in Essaouira. We are lucky to be located right on the beach the other side of the bay from the old medina at the optimum spot for watersports in Essaouira.

Itinerary

If you are a beginner the surf lesson will first start with focusing on your balance and then the pop to your feet, understanding the waves the right waves to catch and the optimum point to catch the waves. We then look at your posture and stance to extend your time on the board riding the wave.

Surf lesson Explora, Essaouira.

Excellent surfing lesson. We were all beginners and the instructors worked hard for the whole time and were very good with helping us to get going. The weather was perfect for us; the morning was quieter but afternoon was also fine. The water felt very safe. If we came again we wouldn’t hesitate to go to Explora again.

Wow, surfing in Essaouira at a club like "Explora" must have been an amazing experience! essaouira is known for its perfect winds and waves for this sport, plus the great atmosphere and dedicated staff make it even better. if you enjoyed it, you might want to recommend it to your friends or even plan to go back. did you find the training easy, or was it more of a challenge?

We took two 2 hour courses with Abdelrahman at explora this autumn. Great hospitality and experienced instructors. Abdelrahman has a good eye for technic and gives very good personal recommendations to get better. If you like to join the class with children it will be worth it. Highly recommended place!
