Overview

A family friendly small group tour of Phang Nga Bay that has a limit of 20 adult guests, even though the boat is licensed for 42 passengers, we visit James Bond Island (Kho Tapu) after the crowds have gone. Lots of sea cave canoeing and exploring hidden lagoons, with a paddle man for each canoe to do the work. Delicious sunset dinner served aboard. After dark we canoe into 1 more cave to see the bioluminescent plankton. The big boat has good protection from sun or rain, a smooth ride, nice toilets and room to move around. All meals are prepared and served aboard. A very family friendly tour suitable for all ages and abilities.

Sunset tour to James Bond Island

We did the big boat sunset tour to James Bond Island. Really enjoyable day from start to finish. Jack was really funny and kept us up update where we were going and the kayaking lads were great taking us through the caves and around the lagoon . Plenty of food during the trip along with soft drinks, water and snacks. Beer could also be brought for 80 baht. It’s a large boat and 20 people is the maximum they take on board so there’s plenty of space. Would recommend this trip

From prior communication (before booking tour) to pick up, the tour and then home again, the service was amazing! Mark and his team are awesome. The tour we chose was Big Boat James Bond Sunset tour. It did not disappoint. I loved how our boat was not overcrowded and we were taken to areas in the bay after most of the crowds had gone. If I had more time, I would definitely book another tour with them. My family stated it has been the highlight of our trip to Phuket, so far! Even if you are not confident in water, the team take great care of you. You can do as much as you want or enjoy just sitting on the boat. The dinner was delicious and fresh. Compliments to the chefs! Highly recommend Phuket Sails for your boat trips. 10/10. Thank you for a wonderful day.

A truly memorable trip

From start to finish this trip was fantastic. Captain Mark and his team work so hard to make it special for everyone. Jack was wonderful.... kept us up to date as to where we were heading, making sure we were all comfortable. Plenty of soft drinks and snacks, and just a few THB if you fancy a beer. Lunch and dinner were delicious. The guys that take you out on the kayaks make the trip! Our guy, Robert was just brilliant. Managed to get us through into a lagoon where we had it just to ourselves until the others braved the tight squeeze! One of the best things about this boat trip is the size of the group. Max is 20 people which means there is no scrabbling for seats, or being all squashed together. A truly memorable experience, thank you.

A great alternative to escape the crowds. Our guide, kayak men and crew onboard really strived to make sure we had an amazing experience. A smaller boat with a less passengers made for a really more relaxed vibe. One of the highlights is the food cooked onboard by the wonderful staff.
