Overview

Enjoy a caviar guided-tour of a sturgeon fish-farm and have a caviar tasting at the Estate, in Neuvic, Dordogne. At the end of the tour we prupose an unusual experience, you can tring to catch a sturgeon into the visitor pool (only 4 volunteers). The guide teach you. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 min and is followed by the tasting. During the tasting, you will be able to try caviar, caviar butter, and sturgeon rillettes made at the Estate you just visited. Those dishes are served with a glass of sparkling wine.

Meeting points

From Périgueux, On the RN89 road to Bordeaux, exit at Neuvic-Centre and keep going until you arrived in the center. At the church turn left to Neuvic-Gare (Neuvic Train Station), and keep going for 1km, turn left before the bridge, then 200 m on the right. From Bordeaux, On the A89 highway, exit at Neuvic tolling, then drive on the RN89 road to Périgueux. Go left at the second roundabout to the mill of nut-oil and keep going straight ahead for 3km. The Estate is on the left after the little bridge. GPS coordinates: 45°5’48’’N – 0°26’56’’E

    Enjoy a 2-hour caviar guided-tour of a sturgeon fish-farm and experiment a tasting at the Estate, in Neuvic, Dordogne. You will first visit the farm for about 1-hour and 15 minutes, followed by the tasting session
