Overview

This tour goes to the Stingray City sandbar where you will interact with stingrays. This tour also includes two snorkeling stops, the magnificent Coral Gardens and the gorgeous Barrier Reef.

Itinerary

  • Grand Cayman

    Interaction with stingrays at the sandbar, plus two snorkelling stops (Coral Gardens and Barrier Reef), approx. 30 minutes at each stop, travel time to and from stingray/snorkel area is 30 minutes each way.

  • Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time.
  • Stay-over guests must provide the following information at time of booking: Name of accommodation, room/unit number and if they need pick up.
  • Meeting Point for Cruise Passengers: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports check-in office located in the Waterfront Centre, 1/2 - 2 Blocks LEFT of the cruise terminal. Please be there at least 45 minutes before time of tour.
  • We provide complimentary pick-up at hotels/condo along Seven-Mile Beach area.
  • Meeting point for Stay-over Guests who do not require pick-up: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports main office located in the Cayman Falls Plaza, across the street from the Westin Hotel on seven mile beach area. Please be here 30 minutes before time of tour.
  • Tour operates on local island time NOT ship time.
  • You must check in at least 45 minutes before the start of the tour.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old and above.
  • Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated provided the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
  • Very important for cruise guests: In the unlikely event that your ship anchors on the south side of the island (Spotts) instead of in George Town Harbour, our shuttle buses will be there to pick you up, and our drivers wearing navy blue (or maroon) colored shirt will be there to meet you. After your tour, we will drop you back in George Town where you can find a local bus or taxi to get back to Spotts.

Great crew and amazing time!! Snorkeling was fun and if you’re not an experienced swimmer they got you covered!! Jesse will help guide you in the water. Joyce will take the best pictures of you while in Stingray city.

This was one of the many activities we did on the island and we had a great time! Our crew included: Captain Aster, Jamie, Jumbo, and Fred. Everyone was super helpful and informative and made sure we had a safe experience. Went with my family, of which two people do not know how to swim. To help make sure they had fun at the snorkeling aspects, crew took them into the water with safety water tub so they could enjoy as well. A lot of fun and highly recommend going with Captain Marvin for this activity.

Amazing experience especially with the Captain

This whole experience was great, especially because of the crew, it was so fun and a once in a lifetime experience. They are experts and make the entire trip so exciting, and even let us drive the boat for a little bit which was very nice! I believe the Captain's name was Bonson or something similar, and he was the best guide we could ever have, making great conversation with all of us and making sure we were all taken care of. The rest of the crew was awesome as well, helping us hold and find starfish, stingrays, and other wildlife. Overall great experience, and the photos we purchased turned out amazing and worth it completely.
