Overview

Arriving at the mill with a convenient courtesy car, you will meet the staff who will accompany you throughout the gastronomic tour and pizza lesson. Sipping a welcome drink, Francesca, Viola, or a member of our staff will explain the ancient origins of pizza and the different styles of pizza in the world. For example: the differences between slice pizza and Neapolitan pizza. You will then be ready for the practical part! Prepare your first pizza! After the lesson you will eat in front of Mount Vesuvius and taste Limoncello and typical liqueurs.

A pizza school in front of Mount Vesuvius on the hills of Sorrento. Learn to prepare the best food in the world. Led by an expert pizza chef, you will discover all the secrets of real Neapolitan pizza. Our school is not just a pizza school but a day dedicated to the history of pizza, the territory and the tasting of local products such as extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella cheese, salami, limoncello and liqueurs. Pizza making with a view

The whole experience was incredible! We got to tour their olive oil making facility and learn about the whole process while getting to taste a variety of different olive oils flavors. Then we got to possibly our favorite part of our whole trip to Italy, the pizza making class with a stunning view! The class was only my wife and I so we received a lot of help from the chef to create our pizzas! Would absolutely recommend this class to anyone!

We booked the pizza school but it was so much more. We had two 13 year old children with us so wanted to ensure they were entertained. They were and loved the Olive oil and bread tasting that was first. The ladies doing this were fantastic so welcoming. The views on the terrace are spectacular looking over to vesuvius. The pizza making class was great and so relaxed. We learnt alot but so much fun and giggles. There's pizza schools then there is this one where you are in the most beautiful setting and the quality of home grown ingredients all local is so good. It's a must, an experience you'll not forget! All of the staff are very friendly and attentive. It's all the stars and then some more!

Personal touch with delicious pizza

We had a wonderful time. Mario and Gennard looked after us very well. The experience began with a Prosecco on the balcony and then we progressed to learning the craft of pizza making which was very fun. The boys served up a little ‘snack’ which was very generous and filling before we progressed to stretching out the dough and adding toppings. The boys let us place the pizza in the oven, and to our surprise we did not drop or burn them. We enjoyed the fruits of our labor on the balcony with a bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of pizza and Italian culture on this experience. Gennard also served us up dessert pizza with Nutella to round out the experience before the lovely Francesca drove us back to our hotel. Such a great experience so close to Sorrento!

Our family had a great time making our own pizza’s. Our chef was amazing. All staff were very engaging, pleasant and made you feel at home. The view was amazing as well.

We had the best time at pizza school on our honeymoon! We learned how to make pizza from scratch and everyone at the restaurant was incredibly nice and hospitable. We felt so special - highly recommend to anyone looking to do something fun in sorento!
