Overview
Experience life at sea without leaving port by visiting the USS Midway Museum, San Diego's number 1 rated visitor attraction. A visit to this historic naval aircraft carrier museum is an essential experience for people of all ages. Hangar Deck and Flight Deck tour routes will showcase Midway’s exclusive collection of more than 30 restored Navy aircraft and the incredible views of San Diego Bay.

Parking is available adjacent to Midway for an additional fee through Ace parking.

Fascinating with knowledgable docent. Only possible downside is slight claustrobic feelings possible in many confined windowless spaces. And steep stairs, almost ladders, to climb. But well worth pushing yourself if you have these vulnerabilities

Must see when in San Diego and make the time to speak with the volunteers there as having served they will have an invaluable insight into life aboard a navy ship.

If you explore all that is offered on the Midway it will be a four hour+ experience. What an experience it will be. Having the many docents available to answer questions and provide real life experiences made the visit educational and enjoyable. This tour provides you with a greater appreciation for our sailors and naval aviators.
