Overview

This is less of a tour and more of a chance to get out and enjoy a segway ride while enjoying Daytona’s greatest assets: the sun and the sand. The Beach Run is a 60-minute ride after the 15-minute safety training. If high tide is 10:30, book either 8:30, 12:30, or 2:30. Booking a slot too close to high tide risks cancellation or rebooking. You can check the tide by searching Daytona Beach Tide Report on google. Sorry I am not allowed to include links on this listing.

Our Segways are designed with wider tires and are meant for off-road and beach riding. We take every opportunity to take you out on the sand whenever possible. We know you come to Daytona for the beach. Your guide will be along just to ensure your safety and steer your group away from areas where riding is prohibited.

This was an amazingly awesome experience! Steve was an amazing guide. First he gave us a quick course on how to safely maneuver a Segway, then he let us practice in the parking lot and once we were ready, we were off to the beach! Daytona Beach is very flat, the sand is compact it was very close by and we rode up and down the beach to our hearts content! It was a lot of fun the weather was perfect and the ride was very nice. This is a great couples activity! Even in a family this would be awesome too. If you were thinking about doing this please... look no more, this is the place to go! I also think it was pretty awesome that our guide commented that he would take pictures of us while on the Segway and they were given to us for free!

I have been to Daytona Beach many times, but never on a segway. It was great fun and Steve was very patient with me until I got the gist of it. I hope to be able to do it again!!

Highly recommend this Segway tour. We were all newbies, but within 5 or 10 minutes we were all pros! The beach tour was so beautiful, and cute stories about the history of Daytona Beach! Coming back again with more friends!
