This tour offers 2 different kayaking options for you to choose from: Seal Kayak tour and the Sunset Kayak Tour. It is the first kayak tour in New Zealand to offer hands free kayaking. Now with the largest human muscle group in play, kayaking becomes easier and more efficient than ever. Come get up close and personal with the New Zealand fur seal as they play around and under your hands free pedal kayak. Taking photos/selfies have never been easier now you can capture all your moments without stopping!

This was a fantastic activity to do in Kaikoura! I'm not the most physically fit person, but I was able to enjoy the kayaks. They were very easy to move around with the pedals and we could get right up close to the seals that put on a bit of a show for us. The tall guys were full of knowledge and facts and made the experience fun. I 100% recommend this activity!

Great pedal kayak experience at sunset

Logan and Eva were both very knowledgeable. Very professional, but also really relaxed and friendly. We had a great time. Never pedal kayaked before. Maximum result..least effort, so I would say most people could do this. Saw some fur seals in and out of the water and a great sunset over the ocean. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Well managed trip for a close up for fur seals

Our guides looked after us well, clearly knew their stuff,. and we're passionate about what they do. They expertly guided us to the seals, where we saw the cute little things close up, watched their playful nature, and heard interesting information about what they were doing. The pedal kayaks were easy to use and we felt safe at all times.

Great trip. We were a bit skeptical about the idea of pedal kayaks - we envisaged something like pedalows. UWe were so wrong- the mechanism is incredibly I clever ( think penguin wings) and far more effective than conventional paddling. Great tour with very knowledgeable and friendly guide and plenty of fur seals and other wildlife!!
