Embark on a full day trek to ( Mountain, Small Bamboo Forest, Local Villages And Muong Hoa Valley ) Sapa The Hidden Trail Trek is a journey to explore nature and local culture in the high mountains of Northern Vietnam. With places like Dragon Jaw mountain, Hang Da village, Hau Chu Ngai village and Giang Ta Chai village, you will admire beautiful breathtaking views of the entire Sapa town and the villages scattered along the Muong Hoa valley from Dragon Jaw Mountain ( 1.970m ). The journey not only brings majestic scenery but also allows you to explore the diverse lives and cultures of ethnic minorities living here, such as the Black H'Mong people in Hang Da village and the Dao people. Red in Giang Ta Chai village. This is an opportunity for visitors to experience the slow pace of life and enjoy meaningful experiences amid the vast mountains and forests of Sapa.

Itinerary

Ham Rong Mountain

At 9:00am our guide will come to pick you up at your Hotel or the guide will meet you at Sapa Church. Then will give you a brief about the program information. Starting from the center of Sapa town, you will take a small trail hike up through corn farm to Mountain, after 1.5 hours we you reach to Dragon Jaw Mountain ( 1,900m ). There you will have the opportunity to see all of Sapa town and Muong Hoa rice valley one of the most beautiful valley in Vietnam. You will feel like you are in harmony with nature, walk through the hidden high trails in small forests and hills, if you're lucky, the weather will be nice you can capture extremely beautiful and majestic moments of the sea of clouds. More specifically you can see the highest mountain ( Fansipang ) roof of indochina from Dragon Jaw Mount.

Hang Da Village

Hang Da village in Sapa is a village of the H'Mong people, notable for its natural beauty and rich culture. This place has huge rocks. From Ban Hang Da, you can also see the majestic panorama of the Sapa mountains with mountains and terraced fields. Hang Da it is also a place for us to stop and have lunch and enjoy local dishes. We'll have about 1 hour for lunch.

Hau Thao

After the lunch we will continue trek to Hau Chu Ngai village taking an extremely beautiful village roads and short bamboo forest trails to get down to Giang Ta Chai village where you can meet and see the local daily life. On the way you have the chance look at the houses scattered around the valley and the extremely majestic terraced fields from above.

Giang Ta Chai Village

Here is a small village of Black H'mong and Zed Dao people, you will visit a small museum, the local guide will show you about local traditional clothes, cultures and local custom. After visit the museum this is also the end of program, we will take a car back to town or your accommodation.

Zo is the best guide

We had Zo as a guide. She was the best! It was a beautiful hike with loads of explanation along the way about plants, hmong culture etc. We had an amazing lunch in between, it was more than enough. Zo is very skilled, knows her stuff and you feel safe and looked after all the time. Thank you Zo!❤️

Amazing experience!

Truly amazing experience trekking the mountain, passing by villages, rice terraces and different farm animals. Zo was the best guide! She made us feel comfortable and her English was impressive. Zo shared knowledge about her culture, the different tribes, plants and more. We walked a total of about 20,000 steps or 9 miles, almost half of which was uphill and the other was flat or downhill. It was customizable and Zo was good about pausing for breaks. Overall, glad we went to Sapa for the trek!

A wonderful trekking experience

We had a wonderful experience with Sapa Local Trekking and our tour guide, Tuam. We booked a 1-day tour. Communication was excellent from the start, so there was no confusion prior to pick-up time. Our group was quite large and diverse, which I was worried about, but our tour guide was very flexible with us to ensure a great experience. The trek we took was absolutely breath-taking. The lunch was also delicious, comprised of the local cuisine. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared about the history/beauty of the ethnic people groups there as we trekked through the villages. Highly recommend!

Amazing trekking experience!

Zo, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We went for valley trek instead of the mountain trek as it was a foggy day. We trek on rice terraces and through 3 villages to learn about the lives of Hmong Community Group. The lunch was simple but tasty local food. I would highly recommend this trekking activity and our guide Zo.
