This Rottnest Island day trip from Fremantle is the most comprehensive guided tour of the island allowing you to explore the stunning beauty of this A-Class nature reserve doing a guided bus and train tour, taking in the amazing fauna and flora of the island, stunning beaches, woodlands and incredible salt lakes – commencing with a unique historic train ride.

Meeting points

Our B Shed Office has temporarily closed. Look for the blue SeaLink ticketing office on the eastern side of E Shed. Boarding for all passengers closes 10 minutes prior to departure.

    Meet your guide here to commence your Grand Island Tour. Board the heritage train for a ride to Oliver Hill and a guided tour at Oliver Hill WWII Guns & Tunnel, followed by a light sandwich lunch.

One Grand Day

We had a great day on the Grand Island Tour, especially enjoyed the tour under the WW2 guns. Our driver obviously loves her job and RottnestIsland itself. Renee knew her stuff, and was eager to educate anyone listening. If you are planning to stay Rottnest Island, I would suggest doing this tour first, so you know what and where to see and do for the rest of your stay.

Rottnest Island was amazing! We hiked, cycled, and snorkeled, with everything easily booked online. The quokkas were adorable, and the island's restaurants were fantastic. Perfect for a special day with family, friends, or a partner. If you love the outdoors, it's the place to be.
