Overview

Enjoy the wonders of Puerto Rico with a certified, fun, and responsible team. We want you to have the most unique and local experience that you can get on the island of Puerto Rico. We will visit two locations and explore different types of caves. Will venture an hour into the north side of the island to one of the most unique local spots away from the city and the crowds. If you’re looking for adventure, this is the experience you are seeking for. You'll be able to river track up and down stream. Jump and swim in refreshing waters while being surrounded by stunning, lush vegetation. You'll be able to float through a beautiful and unique tunnel with impressive rock formations and learn about cave systems and the natural habitat around it, while exploring an underground cave. Afterwards will we enjoy an authentic Puerto Rican lunch. In our last location, we will learn about the history of the native people of Puerto Rico and explore one of the most important caves in the Caribbean.

Itinerary

  • Vega Baja

    In Cueva Arenales, you'll be exploring three cave systems while swimming and floating in turquoise fresh water on the Indio River in the north Kartik system of Puerto Rico while enjoying the lush vegetation in a subtropical jungle. The experience last up to 8 hours due to the travel time to the two locations. 4 hours in the fist location were thy also have lunch and 2 hours in the second location plus the two hours drive.

    Venture into one of the most important caves in the Caribbean while learning about the native people of Puerto Rico. Explore a unique area surrounded by the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean.

MUST EXPERIENCE

Jose and Chalo were the most AMAZING tour guides! Everyone should experience this tour when visiting PR. Definitely pack closed toe hiking sandals for cave portion and hiking shoes to change into for Indian Cave, as well as extra outfit. Would also suggest have one person with a dry bag. Jose passed his knowledge of the local history to us as well as provided information of native plants. The lunch stop had some delicious traditional food items. Chalo is the MASTER of the roadways! We stayed in San Juan Airbnb. Had 11 minute drive to pickup location. Parked at To Go 8 Valet Parking, then walked 2-3 minute to Condado Palm Inn and had time to swing in Chocobar Cortés Condado for a coffee.

This was truly the best excursion! We had so much fun! Our guides Jose & Chalomir were knowledgeable, friendly and helped keep our group energized throughout the experience. They shared about the local vegetation, culture and history, which was nice. We were supplied a life vest & helmet for the first part of the trip. If you want to take pictures, I recommend bringing a dry bag so your phone does not get wet or if you want to remove your prescription glasses during part of the trip like a couple of people in our party did you can. As recommended, wear a bathing suit under a quick dry shirt & shorts and (I wore) covered toe hiking sandals. The place we went for lunch had good food. For the second half of the trip bringing frozen bottle of water and/or an insulated water bottle, a couple of snacks, a towel, sunblock, sunglasses, a ball cap and a change of clothes made it comfortable. PS: We parked at To Go 8 Valet Parking which is near Chocobar Cortés Condado. It has drinks, food and chocolate! It is inside the Condado Palm Hotel, so we had access to restrooms during our short wait for the shuttle.

Jose was an amazing guide today! He made us all feel comfortable even with jumping off small cliffs and climbing through narrow caves. We had a small group and he made it fun for everyone! He told us about the wildlife and plants, explained some of the history and the carvings in the cave, and even helped me order lunch since I speak no Spanish. I want to bring my son back to do it again!

This was an amazing experience in every sense of the word. The staff were incredibly attentive and local, which made it even more special. We got to discover a different side of Puerto Rico that I highly recommend everyone explore. Waterfalls, rivers, beach, caves, limber - local food. This tour has everything packed into one day full of adventure! ❤️ A special thanks to Jose and Johmara, you two made the experience truly unforgettable.
