    Overview

    The RastaSafari Experience is a brand new and unique way to discover how the jamaicans live in the countryside! You jump on brand new side by side atv's (2 by 2, not quad 4 wheelers) and drive them through the hill, plains, farms and throughout a beautiful village of 500 persons. You will get to swim in natural mineral pools, discover a ganja field and much more! Deep in the heart of this beautiful country, you will make countless discoveries, a real photographer's gold mine

    Pickup Details

    The attraction is situated at approximately 1 hour 15 minute from montego bay. Time stated are APPROXIMATE pickup times, and not tour start times. Any hotel in the Montego Bay area, but hotels in trelawny and runaway bay, ocho rios(royalton BW/WS, ocean coral spring, excellence, bahia principe etc) will attract a additional fee for transport. Very important to have drivers licence to drive

    What To Expect


    1. Roaring River • You will get picked up at anyone of your hotel in montego bay on time in a beautiful and clean private shuttle • Arriving at the village, you will get welcomed by the locals where a lady hand roast delicious blue mountains coffee • Your first tour guide will take you on a short hike to the main location where you will be taught about some history and culture of the country and more precisely this beautiful community of Roaring River and its direct surroundings • Arriving at the main location, you will be welcomed with a delicious freshly blended fruit/vegetable juice, and shown where the bathroom facilities are
    2. Rastasafari Experience • Your first tour guide will introduce you to the second one who will give you a quick briefing on how the atv's are to be used • You will start on a uphill road that will take you into some lush forestry and farms for the experience • You will have many stops , including one for swimming, a ganja field discovery, and some fruits tasting right off the trees • You will drive back to the main location for lunch time, one that is home made, wich the chef prepared with fresh and hand picked products from the market, fresh of the day! • Your first tour guide will lead you back down to the arrival point where your driver will be to bring you back to your hotel!

    By far the best excursion we have had! I hate that I have waited so long to visit the country side of Jamaica! The drive to and from Westmoreland with Mr. Cousins was an awesome start to the adventure. Our guide first guide Shantal, gave great information about the fruits and herbs as we walked to the ATVs. We smelled lemongrass and pimento leaves. We saw ackee, almond, mango, small banana and soursop trees! Our ATV guides Kenil and Kristof were so much fun and full of history and knowledge of the community and Jamaica. They took us to the Roar River for a dip into the mineral water. We visited the janga fields. They made us feel like family.....thank you guys!!

    Great experience! We were picked up on time. Going up the “long hill” with its twist and turns was an adventure. All the tour guides were awesome. Lunch was good, especially the cabbage. Each stop on the tour was a great experience.

    The guides were amazing. I was hesitant about doing this excursion as it was a bit pricey. I am so glad we did this. We got to see the real Jamaica. What an amazing experience. This was the best excursion we have had, ever.

    Best Dune Buggy Experience

    Wonderful Experience and definitely what we hoped it was to be . It was even better we booked through tcjtours they had the drivers pick up we arrived for the morning tour as a family and meeting Phil was awesome we spoke with his dad we then went through nature met our tour guides and ride the country as a family all 5 of us . You will learn alot of details you will meet people in the area how they support the locals is awesome with work seems to be doing a better job than the government . The local fruits and food was very good . The river was refreshing and seeing the farm was also great took us about 1hr from Montego bay and we also made local stop to buy some good to bring to the resort . Its fully worth the 4 hours we spent and i recommend it to everyone very easy going very laid back and very informative the dune buggies are new just make sure to be on time. We enjoyed the drive roundtrip we enjoyed the tour and its the perfect combo to get to the location its a beauty .
