Overview

White Pocket is a place so remote and amazingly unique that it can feel like you have stepped into another realm where geology decided to bend the rules. White Pocket's geological formation is made of a thin layer of white sandstone lumped up into mounds and cracked into polygonal shapes, somewhat like dried out whipped cream. Under this thin white layer reigns a chaos of yellow, orange and red swirls twisting upon each other. If you are lucky enough to hike there after a summer thunderstorm, you will enjoy a myriad of reflection pools, creating beautiful mirroring effects and infinite opportunities of otherworldly pictures. It is definitely a visual paradise!

Exciting ride to great views

This trip was amazing. Jim was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic. He made our day incredible. This spot was not over crowded easy to get shots with no one in your view which was fantastic for such a scenic place. Views were great, ride to the hike was fun and he made the whole day fun and enjoyable for all of us. He even helped us get some awesome photos. If I am in the area again I will definitely look into the other tours they offer and request Jim again.

A magical place with breathtaking views with the best guide ever!

Jim, our guide, was the best guide ever. His knowledge of the area was impressive, he was so easy to talk to and extremely helpful with everything. Jim made us feel super safe so we were able to explore white pocket without any concerns. We climbed on top of a big hill and the views were breathtaking. This place seems not real, it was so beautiful and magical!
