Overview

Climb aboard a real World War II Jeep, used by American GIs in 1944. The Jeep will allow us to get off the beaten track and discover the Normandy landings through many anecdotes and places, sometimes forgotten. Our vehicles are completely restored to offer you comfort and safety. Between small typical Norman villages, bocage and beaches, it is a real immersion in the History of Normandy that is offered to you through this unique experience. Our guides are from Normandy, they will be able to tell you the little stories of the region, and answer all your questions.

Meeting points

At the foot of the church of Sainte Mere Eglise, in front of the entrance to the museum, we have a space to park our vehicles as well as Normandy Discovery Tours beach flags.

End point

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

Itinerary

  • Utah Beach

    We will visit the Landing Beach of Utah Beach, where American soldiers landed on June 6, 1944. We will see the monuments dedicated to the Landing.
