This was an amazing private excursion from the Port of Malaga. Our private guide and bus driver met us at the port and transferred us to the border of Gibraltar where our guide arranged for us to take the Taxi tour to the Nature
reserve which is essentially the “Rock of Gibraltar.” This was a little confusing at first, but once you see the road up/down to the top of the Rick you understand that the driving should only be done by experts. Our tour stopped at the top from where we could see across the Straits to Africa, St. Michael’s Caves, the feeding area for the Barbery Apes (and yes, they will jump in and on your van), and the WWII Tunnels. At the end of the tour our driver dropped us off in town where we met our tour guide. We had plenty of time to wander around town to shop and enjoy a lunch before heading back to the ship. All in all it was a wonderful day filled with unique experiences.
