Overview

During our 3 hour 30 minutes experience, we will tell you the history of the Champagne region and the work of the vine according to the seasons. You will go back in time while enjoying the comfort of our vintage vehicle: a Renault Clan 4L dating from 1989. Stops with views of the vineyard will be made the opportunity for you to photograph magnificent landscapes. You will have the opportunity to visit a cellar of a winemaker with explanations of the Champagne making-process and 3 tastings. We will end the experience with an amazing tasting in the middle of the vines and you will learn the art of 'Sabrage' (like Napoleon) the Champagne bottle.

We will visit a small family Champagne producer in the village of Oger. You will discover the Champagne making-process and secrets of this incredible wine. You will finish the visit with a Champagne tastings of 3 glasses.

You will learn the art of Sabrage the Champagne bottle and enjoy a glass of Champagne in the middle of the vineyard.

Absolutely brilliant. We loved every minute. Tour guide Justine was so knowledgable, accommodating and friendly. Vintage car Suzie was a real vintage addition to our day and we learnt so much about champagne making, the region and the brands.

My husband and I booked the private tour for my birthday and I could not have planned a better day myself! The attention to detail from pickup to drop off was spectacular. Colleen (I hope spelled correctly!) picked us up from our hotel and provided us with so much knowledge and fun facts throughout the day. It was really a one of a kind experience and we will do it again next time we’re in Epernay!
