There are some small bars and restaurants usually only locals visit in back alleys in Sendai. you can visit three unique back alleys and visit a bar at each alley. I can choose bars depend on your preference and budget. What kind of bar do you want to try ? a Japanese traditional bar, a modern standing bar or an international bar...??? In this tour you can experience Japanese people's daily life rather than visiting sightseeing spots. Let’s see how Japanese people enjoy in the night. And I will provide some great conversation and company! It would be nice to discuss many topics over a cup of sake!

The Best Experience in Sendai Izakayas

I can’t recommend this tour enough. Ms Mai was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the area where she guide her tours. Without Ms Mai’s assistance I would never be able to enjoy my stay in Sendai as much and, besides introducing me to the lovely izakayas we went to, she also gave me valuable tips about places to go during my day trips. I am really grateful for her assistance and also for the great chats we had.

I had such a fantastic time on Mai's Sendai Bar Hop Tour. Mai is super fun, friendly, is great to hang out with & really knows the best spots to take you based on your food & drink preferences. She's extremely well connected and has wonderful relationships with tons of bar owners. As the festive tour progresses thru the evening, she'll call ahead and make sure seats are available at your next stop, and if not she's already got a Plan B, C, D, ect.. ready to go to ensure your best experience possible :) She'll take you to the funnest places to meet and have drinks with amazing owners and their fabulous customers and regular clientele, you'll have soooo much fun that it feels like your out on the town with your best friends for a fabulous evening of great entertainment and tons of smiles. Plus Mai ensures to get lots of excellent pics to share with you as souvenirs of a fabulous night to remember. I'm definitely booking again next time I'm in Sendai =)

If I could give Mai 10 stars I would! Had such a great time with her, she's so easygoing and easy to have a conversation with! She was great at navigating the busy izakayas on a weekend, and will tailor the tour to your likes. I will definitely be contacting her again for our next tour in the Sendai area!
