Overview

Visit the iconic Château Tanunda in the Barossa Valley with a tasting of wines from some of the oldest continually producing vineyards in the world. The experience includes a hosted seated wine tasting of six wines, including four wines from our Old Vine Expressions range from 50-, 100- and 150-year-old vineyards. Finish with a tasting of our iconic The Everest Shiraz plus an additional curated selection from these ranges selected by your host. Established in 1890, Château Tanunda is rated amongst the very finest wine producers in Australia, crafting wines of excellence that attract recognition from connoisseurs and wine critics around the world.

Itinerary

Experience a hosted seated wine tasting of six wines, including four wines from our Old Vine Expressions range from 50-, 100- and 150-year-old vineyards. Finish with a tasting of our iconic The Everest Shiraz plus an additional curated selection from these ranges selected by your host. In this guided wine tasting, you will taste 6 wines from the Old Vine Expressions and Everest ranges, and learn about what makes the Barossa and its old vine vineyards a unique winegrowing area of the world.

Amazing architecture and gardens are fantastic plus the wine is an added bonus :-)

Even if you a not a wine lover, this is a must stop just to take in the history of the vineyard, building and surrounds. There are a number of things to read and view without drinking, so it’s definitely worth the stop, even if you have kids with you. There is a fantastic range of wines on offer so take your time and enjoy your flight.
