An Amazing story of how they saved these tenements & their apartments & did the research to tell many families’ stories in their apartments. Educators were excellent.

Nice amount of time to learn some of the basic history of the Lower East Side and experience some of the older and newer foods to come out of the area.

A brilliant tour with Emmeline. She had so much knowledge and answered all our questions. All of the places we visited were both interesting and delicious. Tour is very reasonably priced for all the food and facts you get :)

My teenage son said this tour was worth the price just to avoid the queues at Katz Deli! This was one of the best things we have done in New York. The tour visits all the famous food spots we’ve heard about and they didn’t disappoint. Our guide Ian was wonderful - great company, full of knowledge and a natural people wrangler. Our teens loved this tour as much as we did.
