We are went to the hurulu eco national park we seen around 20-30 elephants guide was so good he is very knowledgeable "highly recommend "

Must do experience!! Amazing tour of Hurulu Eco Park with tour guide, Tharu. Tharu was so informative, kind and considerate of the elephants and other tour groups. We went in April which is low season, starting at 11.30am so the park only had a few other tour groups. We saw over 20 elephants and it was such a magical experience. Tharu has been a tour guide for 7 years but is starting out with his own tour business so definitely do this experience and support him! He was really flexible in letting us stop at an ATM on the way so get cash for the park entry fee (only $5,000 LKR for 2 people at Hurulu)

We loved every second of it. It didn’t take us more than 5 min to find the first elephants and we saw probably even more than 25 in total. Tharu (tour guide) told us loads of interesting facts about all the animals we saw and answered every question we got. He knew were to find the elephants and always tried to find us the perfect spot and even found some where only we were around. Tharu was always respectful and gave us the best experience possible.

The safari was perfect, we saw so many elephants! Our guide was extremely knowledgable on the elephants and knew exactly where to find them without anyone else around! Such a great experience - highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our guide was so good at finding the elephants, we had them all to ourselves in many occasions. We also saw hornbills, peacocks and many other animals. If you’re looking for a kind, knowledgeable tour guide, look no further!
