This luau was one of the highlights of our vacation. We are a family of 4, including 2 teenagers and everyone loved this event! I recommend buying the tickets closer to the front for a better view and shorter lines. We drove ourselves and got there right when the doors opened which allowed us to participate in all the pre-event activities (family photos (free!) tattoos, flower bracelets, headbands, coconut grinding and more! The entire crew is welcoming and provides a warm family environment. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the Luau and learning more about different cultures and dances. The location was beautiful and the shows were so fun to watch. We are extremely appreciative of them being able to make special accommodations for diet, just be sure to communicate with them ahead of time. Overall, we very much recommend taking the time to experience Mauka Warriors Luau.

I wasn't overly optimistic when I arrived at the event; the layout and activity sessions looked haphazardly thrown together. HOWEVER, somehow it all came together and worked! My adult sons loved the activity sessions, even bracelet making. And they loved their flower leis lol. The performance was amazing. Drink sessions were well run and though lines looked long they moved very quickly. I was wondering about how the buffet would work - with so many people would it be chaos? Nope. It worked very smoothly and everyone was through the lines and in their chairs very quickly. I wasn't a fan of the food but my sons loved it. (I'm not a fan of seafood and can't eat shellfish - but heard it was quite good, especially the fish.) Not sure if you can go back to the buffet, though, so plan accordingly. Parking was easy as were restrooms. One thing to note - don't feel compelled to rush through the gate - tables are pre-assigned. Get in the tattoo line immediately - the line gets very long.
