Overview

For a private lesson,write before booking. For groups exceeding the day limit, please write before booking. You will receive hands-on training in pasta preparation from a local chef and use only fresh, wholesome products. I will teach you new cooking techniques that you can easily replicate at home. You will learn about our traditions and receive advice on our cuisine. Notify us in advance of any dietary restrictions.

Itinerary

For price clarifications write before booking. For a private lesson,write before booking. For groups exceeding the day limit, please write before booking. After welcoming you into my kitchen in Sciacca with a glass of my wine, you will embark on a journey of discovery of the history of Saccense gastronomy through my dishes, which we will prepare during a lesson . There I will tell you about and teach you how to prepare one of my specialities: Fresh Pasta. I will show you how to prepare the perfect dough and the tools we will use most will be just your hands, with the freshest ingredients and lots of love. The fresh pasta you prepare will be cooked by me for you to taste. Companions of guests with disabilities allowed, but NOT allowed to use the benefits of the experience participants. It is not essential that you know Italian well, as no great language skills are required, as long as you are willing to do :) Remember to always report any food allergies or intolerances in advance. And also at the end you can take away what you have created during the lesson.

Exceptional culinary experience!!

The reception was warm and inviting, very friendly. There was no problem with the translation because her son speaks excellent English. I enjoyed being shown their wonderful garden and learning about everything that they do. Their family has an extensive agricultural business, even making their own flour for the pasta!!! If I could give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend this activity.!!!

The best cooking class ever - don’t miss it!

It was absolutely brilliant! We had so much fun and learned so much. The best experience during our holiday in Sicily. Accursia and her son (who assisted, translated to English and took amazing pictures) were the perfect hosts, so nice and genuinely friendly. We got to taste their farm produce (wine, olives, fruits etc) in their patio, and the pasta dough was made from their durum wheat.

Great family evening, learning to make pasta with Accursia and Vincenzo in her kitchen. Lovely aperitivo on the terrace and tour of the garden. We and the kids loved learning how to make all sorts of shapes and how to prepare the the pasta. A really fun experience!

Amazing people, amazing property, amazing experience

Acurisso and her son provided the best pasta making experience for my family and I. They were very generous and thoughtful, sharing their family recipes and really participating in the experience with us. They have us a tour of their grounds where everything we cooked was grown which was very special to see! Truly an amazing property they live on. The house was amazing and we had an unforgettable experience. I highly highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Great class learning how to make various types of pasta. The final product for dinner was delicious. Our host and hostess were very patient teachers and involved everyone in the class.
