Overview

Manarola wine tasting experience is a nice walk through the Manarola vineyards among panoramic points to take beautiful photos, good local wine and flavors, snacks and an exclusive moment in an amazing old cellar from the 1800s, relax and sharing at the convivial table, nice music.

We'll see you at the Cantina Marinella near the Church of San Lorenzo in the upper part of the village of Manarola.

Itinerary

The wine tasting experience to the Cantina Marinella with Maria is an exclusive experience for max 8 people in an amazing old cellar from the 19th century. We will meet to the Cantina and after a walk through the vineyards of Manarola, an old mule track, up to the panoramic point where the terraces descend overlooking the sea and the colorful houses and where you take beautiful pics, we will return to the cellar where the tasting of some local wines will begin: - 3 tasting glasses of white wine - 1 tasting glasses of rosé wine - 2 tasting glasses of red wine - 1 tasting glass of Sciachetra' the precious and rare sweet dessert wine with Cantucci biscuits. They will be served during the wine tasting local food products. Relax, good music and sharing at the convivial table. If you want to make the experience private and personal it is possible by reserving all seats. In case of rain we skip the first part of the activity with a walk in the vineyards and we stay in the cellar for the tasting. By default, times are entered, but in the months of September, October and November the times are brought forward because the sun sets earlier.

This was the most fantastic wine tasting and tour I have ever been. Maria was very knowledgeable of the process of making wine at cinque Terre. We learned a lot. Cinque Terre (Maranola) is a UNESCO world heritage site, so a lot goes in to protecting the town, and the way things are done. The wines are small production that really pays attention to quality and tradition. The tasting and snacks are very generous portions. I liked their dessert wine a lot, and I don’t like sweet wines, but this is very different. The star of the Show is Maria, we could not have asked for a better host. If I could, I will give her 10 stars.

My friend and I stumbled upon this hidden gem after our hike, and Maria was kind enough to accommodate us without a reservation. I’d recommend reserving ahead and going for the full tasting experience. Maria was fantastic, and we got to meet two sisters next to us who had reserved—there were so many more tasting options! This was truly one of the highlights of our trip; I highly recommend it. It’s a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.

The wine tasting experience with Maria was fantastic! We began by walking the vineyards with amazing views of Manarola and the sea. Maria is very knowledgeable about the wine of the region. The beautifully prepared aperitivo and the wines were delicious and Maria’s explanation and presentation were appreciated. So much fun!

Amazing wine tasting with local snacks

Maria showed us around the vineyard, telling us interesting facts about the local wine production and the area. The tasting afterwards was absolutely amazing, we could taste seven different wines and she provides us with a huge plate of local snacks to go with the wines. Everything was extremely tasty and the we had a grwat time with Maria, we would recommend this experience to every wine lover!

Our Manarola vineyard tour with Maria was the highlight of our trip to Cinque Terre. We arranged the excursion on relatively short notice, but the communication with Maria was exceptional, and she welcomed us warmly. We enjoyed the tour of the Manarola vineyards, and Maria was very knowledgeable in the viticultural practices of the region. We then proceeded to an extensive wine degustation and delicious traditional meal. Maria’s enthusiasm and expertise in describing local wines enhanced the overall experience.
