We learned a lot about the formative stages of the city’s foundation and had the pleasure of entertaining ourselves with keen insights Nina provided on a number of different subjects. Our delightful guide took us through the ins and outs, ups and downs (above and below ground!) of Old Lviv a most entertaining and thought-provoking manner. A few notes: 1) You will need to be very sure-footed—there are many stairs and uneven surfaces. 2) Not a tour for children for the same reason. 3) While the guide is more than able to give a very good introductory tour, the more you read ahead of time, the more you will be able to benefit from the depth of his knowledge. Highly recommended.
