With this tour , you will spend approximately forty five minutes to an hour experiencing the natural phenomenon luminous lagoon . Witness the glow formed from small microorganism that emit a flash of light when touched. This marvel is only found four places in the world, however this lagoon is the brightest of them all due to the consistent climate in Jamaica. The Darker the night the brighter it glows. Therefore it is best to book this tour on a dark night, rather than when it is full Moon. (Nb) For best experience reserve your experience for a dark night as we recommend checking a Lunar Calendar for the best dates to book this Excursion. Glistening Waters Luminous Lagoon Tour

Travelers will board a boat to explore the bioluminescent lagoon and learn what causes it iridescent blue-green glow. After which you can go for a swim and see the water light up around you or if you wish ,you can stay on the boat and have as much fun just watching others splashing the water to see the magnificent glow. The Darker the night the brighter the glow. Therefore we recommend that travellers book this Excursion on a dark night rather than when the Moon is Full. Book wisely on a dark night for the best experience.

Beauty in the lagoon

The lagoon was magical! Our guides were knowledgeable and so funny! Our driver from Coopa tours was beyond fabulous. We got so much history on our ride there! Totally recommend this adventure!

Desmond Transportation Services provided pick up and drop off to the tour site. Desmond was excellent, timely and knowledgeable. He gave a lots of facts about the Jamaica and different sites along the way. The boat was entertaining, one of my favorite tours in Jamaica so far. The guide was hilarious and made the experience one to remember.

The trip was great! The water lit up, the swimming was perfect, the captain was professional and hilarious, I felt safe and had fun. Our driver, Desmond, for Coopa Tours, was the best, very friendly and full of information about the island. Highly recommend!

Magical memories

We did the glistening water trip and it was fantastic the crew were great fun and caring and made us feel very safe. The star ⭐️ was Desmond from Coopa Tours who facilitated the tour for us. He was so informative and charming it was like getting a 2 4 1 tour as he gave us so much history on the drive to the luminous lake and lots of information about this beautiful island. We will return to our hotel and recommend Desmond and Coopa tours to everyone. Thank you for an amazing lifetime memory.

Amazing, Once in a Lifetime Experience

This activity was amazing! Our transfer from Ocho Rios to the location was great, our driver was so nice and offered up so much history about the areas we were traveling to. Once we arrived, there was a wait about 1 hour and a half as we waited for the sun to go down. The dock is also a restaurant w/ bar that features a DJ so we had a time while we waited. Once aboard our captains were great and hilarious while also keeping our safety a priority. No, you won’t be able to use a camera to catch the glow but the lifelong memories that were made have no comparison. It was BEAUTIFUL! It lit up so good, just an amazing experience. 10/10 would do again
