Just step off Dotombori's main street, and you'll find yourself in a lively area where locals love to gather. Here, we’ll stop by 1 or 2 cozy local izakayas (Japanese-style pubs) and bars and enjoy unique food and drinks just like the locals do! We’ll also walk through vibrant backstreets, hidden alleys, and local spots along the way. Your guide will take photos throughout the tour, so you’ll have lasting memories. Haven’t seen the famous Dotombori Glico Sign yet? Let’s go check it out together! ※Each walk between izakayas will be about 5 minutes (sometimes 10 mins).

I had an incredible time on the Local Izakaya and Bar Hopping Tour in Namba, and Tetsu was absolutely amazing! From the start, Tetsu was not only kind and professional, but he also personalized the experience to suit my preferences. I specifically requested to avoid the typical tourist spots, and Tetsu took me to some truly authentic, local spots that I would never have found on my own. The tour was a great mix of delicious food and great drinks at traditional Japanese restaurants and bars. What really stood out was Tetsu's ability to bridge the language gap and introduce me to local restaurant and bar owners. It was an amazing opportunity to learn about Osaka’s vibrant nightlife culture and see firsthand how respect and hospitality are woven into everyday interactions. If you’re looking for a unique, off-the-beaten-path experience away from the crowds of typical tourist areas, I highly recommend this tour. Just a heads-up—if a place is overcrowded, Tetsu will quickly adapt and take you to another spot, ensuring the experience remains enjoyable. Probably not recommended if you have more than two people.
