Get the Best of Lima with us!
If you have only one day in Lima and want to make the most of it, this is your chance to get to see the highlights of the city!
We pick you up and head to Huaca Pucllana, a pyramid built in the year 200 b.c. by ancient Peruvians (panoramic), then we go to "The Park of Love" to take excellent photos with the monument "the kiss". After, we leave Miraflores to go to a non-touristy area, this is the fishers Village of Lima, where we visit a fish Market as we learn a bit more of the everyday life of Peruvians.
After Chorrillos, we go to The bohemian district of Barranco, to see the street art and the "Bridge of Sighs". For lunch we go to an indigenous market to try our famous and local ceviche!.
After lunch, we head to the Historic of Lima, to explore the mysterious catacombs below the San Francisco church and to have a meaningful Walking tour along with our guide. The visit to Main Square and San Martin Plaza are included on the program.

A great intoduction to Lima and Peru

Great tour as an introduction to Peru and Lima. We were taken to a produce market where we talked about agriculture in Peru and tasted some delicious tropical fruits. Our guide walked us through several districts explaining the history and culture of each as well as the country as a whole. We ate a late lunch at a typical Peruvian cafe. We were given several choices of appetizer, entree and dessert. The food was delicious. We ended in the evening with a water park extravaganza. A beautiful day!

Alexander, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable! It one of the best tours we’ve had. It was historical, cultural and so interesting! We got to see parts of Lima not open to the general public (st. Francis convent and catacombs) . We enjoyed the fruit tasting, walking the markets, murals and so much more!

Renzo was a great guide. He has a super knowledge base! We felt like the Lima city tour was a perfect way to see parts of the city that we would never have seen in our short time here. The AM market, lunch and cacao visits added to the enjoyment and experience!
The hotel pickup and drop off was clutch. We were at the airport hotel for the pickup and were dropped off in Miraflores. Our bags were safe in the van the entire day. All of the staff were kind, pleasant and super helpful.
I would absolutely recommend this tour. Additionally, I would love to use this company in the future if we are lucky enough to come back( ie: Cuzco!). The owner, John Paul, is was a pleasure to meet.
