The Paramount Alaskan Experience

Published on Oct, 2024

This tour was the highlight of our vacation. Kate and Gabby were fabulous guides and showed us a once in a lifetime experience. We were able to see sea life, bald eagles, sea lions & seals, closer than ever before. They were very personable and knowledgeable. You can’t go wrong if you book this!

Awesome experience

Published on Sep, 2024

My wife and I booked our excursion through Viator and were the only group that went out that morning. Eli was a great guide. The water was for the most part very calm. The kayak had a rudder which made maneuvering very easy. We had close encounters with sea lions, harbor seals and bald eagles. We had an awesome time and would recommend this tour to everyone.

Nice Adventure

Katie was a great lead and we enjoyed our 1 hour 45 minute kayak tour around Eagle Island. We managed to see several sea lions and bald eagles. If you are arriving at Ward Cove (Norwegian and Oceana Cruise Lines), please text (use the Tripadvisor message option on their site a day before and let them know you'd like to be picked up the morning of your tour. You can meet the guide right outside by the railroad cars as the tour vans all park against the railroad cars facing the water. The tour company also provides sea skirts that secure over you when you are in the kayak to avoid any sort of water coming into the kayak. We did not get wet at all. They also show you how to get into the kayak and help with getting you out. It's just a nice adventure.

MUST DO EXCURSION

Published on Sep, 2024

Katy was out tour guide and she was so sweet and helpful. We had the best time even though it was raining and cold. We had a couple of humpback whales surface close to us which was both scary and exhilarating! We saw starfish, eagles nests, whales, seal lions, and seals. It was my favorite part of my whole Alaskan trip!

Best experience ever

Published on Sep, 2024

Katie was amazing. My wife was very nervous and Katie was great accommodating- the tour was our family and another group of girls from our cruise ship and we were all different levels but all kept engaged and together which was a challenge in itself. The tour was and would have been amazing regardless but then the amazing happened and we had a mother and baby humpback pass us at under 10ft away- Katie kept us all calm and let us revel in the majesty of the experience. 10/10 a great great end to our trip. Hot chocolate after is a nice touch too.
