Overview

Enjoy the upper canyon of Mreznica between Primislje and Trzic, the most beautiful part of the river right in the wilderness.

Itinerary

Six stunning travertine waterfalls, crystal clear waters, magnificent canyon, beautiful intact nature, exhilarating cliff jumping, swimming and paddling… all packed in a four hour kayaking trip on the Mreznica. The great thing about this trip is that you don’t need any previous kayaking experience. It is so safe, even the 6 year olds can join.

  • May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
  • Availability for the trip cannot be checked without making a booking. Credit cards will only be charged upon confirmation of show availability
  • You will get a life jacket, a helmet and a paddle, plus long neoprene suit and a rain jacket in case of cold weather. Waterproof containers are available for personal items (camera drinks, etc.). Don’t forget to bring shorts or a bathing suit, a T-shirt, water shoes, a towel, sun cream and water. In case of colder weather take a long-sleeved shirt.
  • Weather - the summers are typically warm and sunny. From May to October temperatures are comfortable for hiking, paddling, and swimming. Rain is always a possibility in Croatia so it is essential to bring adequate rain wear and a jacket in case of inclement weather. In the unlikely case of extreme weather conditions we will reschedule the activity for a day or two prior or after the date booked, if possible. If the rescheduling is not possible, the payments will be refunded in full
  • Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund

Kajak event with teacher Bastiaan

We had a very nice kajak event with Bastiaan. He is a very nice teacher. It was a safe event and the nature is beautiful and clear water.

Although there was a slight rain, it was amazing! Me and my fiancee got a personal tour. Just Basti and us. He told us a lot about the scenery, nature, festival and a bit of history to why there were so many empty houses. We are both afraid of heights, but this was amazing. We went and jumped down some waterfalls. Basti made pictures and was filming us. We would totally recommend!

We had a wonderful day out with Raftrek Adventure Travel. I don't know why this isn't more highly discussed as an activity for people visiting the Plivitice area. We were thankful for the wetsuits and booties for the trip, since the sun did not make an appearance. Suggest for all of you visiting the area - to add this ~4 hour adventure on! Our guide was great and provided us history about the area and took river safety seriously. If you go, be sure to bring your own water (have it with you when you arrive) and bring your own food. They provide a dry container for your to bring your things in. Consider croakies for your sunglasses (we didn't need them b/c no sun) and a drybag for your camera to be able to get some great photos/videos of the adventure!

What a wonderful day. We were fortunate and had small group of 8, met new people and had so much fun. Tour guide Basti was excellent and gave concise instructions without spending too much time that we lost attention. Day was perfect, so fun jumping and rafting down falls Thanks for the fun day!
