    Known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, this natural wonder was carved out by the Waimea River and the collapse of a volcano. The rich colors of the red soil and the lush greenery are a spectacular site to see.

The tour took us to the most interesting valley in the islands. Plenty of time to enjoy the view and bask in the beauty.

This was a great half day bus trip to Waimea canyon with a stop at the spouting horn. Our guide/driver was Leone and he gave a great commentary and drove very safely. I can't stress enough what a price company Roberts is and a great local alternative to the cruise ship tours. everyone on Kauai knows when the ships come and go and Roberts is no exception. They took care to make sure we knew where the pick up point was, right where all the other tours are picked up. If you are on POA, the Friday tour is a little but less crowded than the Thursday tour.
