What an amazing tour! The guide Musa was very friendly and easygoing. He took us to restaurants that I would never find myself and the food was delicious. The local specialty soba was awesome, but I personally love the yakitori and tsukune better, the combination of the delicious sauce and juicy meat were just perfect. Will definitely book again when I have the chance in future.

Wonderful food tour in Nagano

This was a wonderful tour around Nagano's izakayas! Masa knew all the places to go including a soba noodle shop that has been ran by the same lady for over 50 years! Masa was lovely to spend time with and easy to talk to. He's very knowledgeable about the local area but also gave recommendations throughout Japan. If you get the opportunity I would do any tour that masa offers as he is a great entertainer and fun to spend time with! Highly recommend!

We were with Masa earlier for the cultural walking tour and had the greatest privilege of having him bring us around Nagano at night for a food and Sake feast. He brought us to several places including BBQ skewers in a Japanese Pub. handmade Soba. and finally Gyoza (Fried Dumplings) and FriedChicken Wings. Great food and great company. Highly recommended.
