Thuy Xuan Incense Village dates back to 700 years ago during the Nguyen Family in Central Vietnam. In the past, the village supplied incense to the royal court and locals in the Thuan Hoa - Phu Xuan area. At this time, the incense sticks were produced in only two basic colours, brown and red. Now, thanks to their creativity, Thuy Xuan villagers have incense sticks in a rainbow of colours. When they are placed together, clusters of incenses look like colourful flowers in full bloom. We had a brilliant time on our motorbike tour with Hung! We learned a lot about Hue and it's historical sights, and about life in Vietnam in general! Getting around on the bikes was so fun and meant we could enjoy the more scenic routes. We felt really safe the whole time and even though it was raining it was still very enjoyable!
A fantastic tour. Do it!

This was such a great tour - if you are thinking of booking it do it! My wife and I enjoyed it so much. Hung our guide was so incredibly knowledgeable and we learnt so much on the tour. Not just about the pagodas and tombs but Vietnam and its history in general. Hung’s English is perfect and he is very engaging. It was my first time on the back of a motorbike but I felt totally safe the whole time and it was a really fun way to get around. One of the highlights of our time in Vietnam.
Fun and different tour.

Hong arrived at our hotel on time in the morning with another driver and my husband and I spent the next 7 hours being driven around Hue and the surrounding countryside to all of Hue's top sites - both historical and cultural. It was a fast and safe way to tour the city from the back of a motorbike and the cool breeze helped to take the edge off the heat. Hong was very patient, informative and offered us many interesting stories. Hong's English was excellent and he was able to talk on a wide range of topics.
