The half-day tour itinerary features food tasting and beverages that are locally sourced and prepared. Walk with your foodie guide through the old streets of Hanoi, strolling up and down the busy, narrow streets of the Old Quarter. Itinerary

Start your small-group food walking tour by visiting the colorful local market of Dong Xuan, where you'll meet and chat with a few stallholders about their food. With experience as a chef and bartender, your guide shares culinary insight and connects you to local traditions in an easy-to-understand way. Tempt your taste buds at food stalls and authentic Vietnamese eateries as you visit the highlights along some of the 36 original trading streets that make up Hanoi's Old Quarter. Your walk then continues along high streets and back alleys, strolling past French colonial architecture while discovering out-of-the-way street vendors who make and sell a wide variety of foods. Your final destination is a comfortable setting indoors, where guests can sit down for refreshments while tasting a wide selection of local delicacies purchased directly from the street vendors — most of whom you saw or met along the tour route.   By the time your morning or afternoon tour finishes up in central Hanoi, you'll be able to identify a range of local dishes and know how to order them.
