Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before heading into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The guides at Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park.

  • For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.

Amazing Tour of Wild Wyoming

We had the most amazing time on this tour! As first timers to Wyoming this tour was perfect in showing us all the stunning views and wildlife that we probably would never get to see in the wild. Our tour guide was Corey and he was so knowledgeable, easy going and answered all our questions! This was definitely the highlight of our trip and something we will never forget. Plus—he had plenty of snacks, water and even binoculars!

Our tour was amazing. Jeffrey was the perfect guide. He is so beyond knowledgeable about the area, nature, history, the wildlife and more. He tailored the tour to our interests and explained everythong. He made the tour so interesting with his stories and connection to the area. He knew the perfect places to stop for viewing and photo opportunities and took amazing pictures for us too. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and highly recommend this company and especially Jeffrey.

If you're heading to Jackson Hole, animal tracking with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris should be at the top of your list! This was hands down the best experience of our trip. Our guide, Jed, was absolutely top-notch—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife. He is one of the top trackers in the country! We spotted so many amazing animals in their natural habitat and learned a ton along the way. This adventure was unforgettable and something everyone should add to their bucket list! Highly recommend!

It was an awesome experience! Very comfortable van. We saw a moose! Scott was our guide and was very knowledgable about the area. He took us to some amazing stops along our trip! Would highly recommend and would book again with this company!
