The Absolute Best Way to Explore the Alps!

Our large group had an amazing time on our hiking adventure led by Simon. He is extremely knowledgeable of the area and great with kids. We hiked the 5 Lakes Trail with unforgettable views of the Matterhorn and even had the special treat of seeing (and petting) Black-nosed sheep along the way! Simon and his colleague, Cari, were encouraging and patient with all of us the entire day! Thank you!!

Great hike with expert experience

Simon and Carey took us on an awesome hike they called the “5 lakes hike”. They chose our route based on our hiking experience. The swim in the lake was fun. They were very attentive, and offered great advice for the rest of our trip.

Decided to book a solo hike out of Zermatt as I was travelling alone and had never walked in a mountainous region before. What a great decision! Matthew was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable. He took me on a gorgeous route past crystal-clear lakes and up to a traditional mountain lodge. He adapted the walk to suit my needs (downhill walking is my nemesis) and explained the names of the mountains around us and the geography of the area. Would absolutely recommend to any fellow solo travelers who want an intro to hiking around Zermatt.

What an amazing day hiking through the mountains surrounding Zermatt with our knowledgeable and friendly guide Matthew! We hiked up to Edelweiss cabin/hotel for some drinks and snacks with a superb view of Zermatt and the surrounding areas. Then we hiked across the mountain and through amazing scenic vistas and historical small hamlets along the mountains. Matthew kept it interesting and we were able to stop and go at our comfort level. He never made us feel rushed and took extra time to make sure we were enjoying our hike. Be sure to bring good comfortable shoes and water/drinks with you. Hiking poles would also be helpful but we did not have any with us. Thank you again Matthew for an unforgettable experience! We never would have climbed as high or traveled as far without you as our guide!
