Overview

Spend 12 hours exploring the magnificent southern coast of Iceland including a glacier hike with an experienced guide. Discover the Sólheimajökull Glacier as well as the Seljalandsfoss waterfall and the Reynisfjara black sand beach. Ensure comfort with a small group tour and transport provided by minibus.

Itinerary

Join this expedition to the South Coast with a hike on Sólheimajökull glacier. We make stops at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, its neighbor the majestic Skogafoss, then we head to the mighty waves of the Atlantic Ocean at Reynisfjara beach, also known as The Black Sand Beach. Did we mention we will also walk on top of Sólheimajökull glacier? Wait no more and hop on this minibus with the Troll to the south shore of Iceland.

Best day ever! Our driver and guide Bjorn was fantastic. Lots of stories along the way which was really interesting. All the sights were stunning. The black beach, incredibly windy and atmospheric. The waterfalls, stunning! The glacier hike with our guide Adam topped the day off! It was out of this world, what a privilege it was. What an amazing day, two fantastic guides definitely made the experience - so thank you! Our best experience here in Iceland.

So many wonderful sites! Glacial hike is very doable but definitely a workout... I would rate it a moderate activity level. Never thought in my life I would say I traversed a glacier! Philip was our hike leader and he was so gracious for slower movers like me and educated us all on our surroundings. Experience of a lifetime!
