    Selvatura Park offers an immersive experience in the Monteverde Cloud Forest with a range of activities. Adventure seekers can enjoy one of Costa Rica's longest canopy tours, featuring 13 cables, 18 platforms, and a Tarzan Swing. For a more tranquil experience, visitors can walk along eight hanging bridges with stunning views of the forest. The park also features a live butterfly exhibit with over 20 species, a Sloth Habitat that mimics their natural environment, and a Reptile and Amphibian Tour showcasing iconic species like red-eyed tree frogs, glass frogs, and boa constrictors. This experience provides a unique glimpse into the rich biodiversity of Monteverde.

Great time!

Out family (TripAdvisor only gives a Family with young children and Family with teens option, so I chose friends) which is my husband and I and our adult children, had a great time here. We did all the activities here and loved them all (again, TripAdvisor only let us select certain options, not the one we actually did). Our guide, Dylan, for the Sloth and Butterfly Garden was fabulous as were our guides for the zip lines and the reptiles and amphibians exhibit. Highly recommend!

Exciting experience in the rain forest

The service overall was excellent. We did all the activities. Zip line was well organized and enjoyed them a lot- my son did the Tarzan rope and loved it. The bridges are a wonderful walk in nature: we were fortunate to see a couple of quetzals in their habitat. Reptiles and sloths tours were informative and wonderful experience. The food at the restaurant is delicious and service outstanding (Elmer was excellent). The gift shop has good variety. Parking was great and safe since we had all our bags in the trunk. They offered great photos service and now we have wonderful pictures of the experience

It was super fun. We had the all day pass, and we got to do so many fun things! We got to see butterflies, sloths, and reptiles/amphibians. Then we went ziplining, which had almost no waiting and felt very safe and fun and had amazing views. We had lunch at their restaurant and hiked on some hanging bridges with amazing views. Great thing to do if you are in the Monte Verde area.

This was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip. The team who did the zip lining was friendly, and we always felt safe. It was so much fun to fly through the treetops! We also really enjoyed walking along the hanging bridges, and since we were there in November, it wasn’t too crowded at all. It was also so, so special to visit the sloth sanctuary and see so many sloths up close. Definitely don’t miss that opportunity!

Fun day at Selvatura for adventure!

We went to Selvatura for zip lining, hanging bridges and the sloth sanctuary. We were picked up in downtown MTV which was very helpful. The zip lining was so much fun even though some of the rides were very misty and we got pretty wet (we’re in the cloud forest after all!). The tour guides were really sweet, getting to know everyone’s names and getting us hyped up for the rides. The hanging bridges were a nice walk with really cool wildlife all around the bridges. The sloth sanctuary was so great, it was nice to learn about how the sanctuary helps sloths have better lives after accidents and we were lucky to see a lot of movement! Highly recommend Selvatura for some adventure when you’re in MTV!
