Overview

Fully discover the stunning beauty of the Bay of Islands with a full day charter onboard our spacious catamaran. Our charters leave from Paihia Wharf at 9.30am. Once we depart you can take in the amazing scenery as we set sails and journey out into the Bay of Islands. After a 2 hour sail we will drop anchor in a sheltered island bay. Choose how you will enjoy your 2 hour island excursion. Take your pick of one or all of our fun activities. Explore the island with a self guided island walk, test your balance on our stand up paddle boards or swim in the clear waters and experience an underwater adventure with a snorkel. When you're done adventuring enjoy a tasty catered lunch before we make our way back to Paihia.

    Anchoring at one of the beautiful bays that make up the Bay Of Islands. Choose how you will enjoy your 2 hour island excursion. Take your pick of one or all of our fun activities. Explore the island with a self guided island walk, test your balance on our stand up paddle boards or swim in the clear waters and experience an underwater adventure with a snorkel. When you're done adventuring, enjoy a tasty catered lunch before we make our way back to Paihia.

Family fun

This was one of the most relaxing parts of our trip! Easy access, Boat was beautiful, day was amazing! Would do this cruise over and over if we lived closer.

Best excursion ever

A fantastic way to see the Bay of Islands, on a beautiful, spotlessly clean vessel. The views, the island stop for lunch, the walk on the island, even my first ever attempt at paddle boarding, (which meant I had plenty of swim time!) were all great fun. Brad and Monique were wonderful, so friendly, entertaining and informative, and the whole experience was relaxing and unhurried. The packed lunch was also delicious. Probably the best of many, many excursions we have enjoyed, worldwide, over many years. Yes, that good. Thank you, Brad and Monique, for sharing the Bay of Islands, the most picturesque place in the world, in our opinion, in such a fantastic way.

Delightful and relaxing day

What a magical day! The team leading the day were thoughtful and communicative as we navigated higher-than-usual swells. They took us through calmer waters to see historical sites and then picked a tranquil cove for our water-based activities. We also opted for the short hike which featured lots of bird song and a lovely beach. The food was tasty too.

It was a lovely day, Brad and Monique are wonderful hosts, spent time sailing and swimming. So relaxing, if you are looking for a comfortable catamaran, spend a day with Bayscapes!

A great day on the water with Bayscapes Charters

What a great day out on the water with Bayscapes Charters on their Catamaran, visiting a number of islands, especially Moturua island, where we walked, swam & paddle boarded. Lunch was delicious and a joy to be under sail on the trip home rather than by engine. Even managed to find a few good birds, NI Saddleback & Whitehead on Moturua island and numerous little blue penguins on the sea.
