Overview

Together we will meet the Piedmontese tradition seen from Tuscany. We will prepare the traditional tajarin, the Piedmontese ravioli del plin, the typical pici of Siena looking at the splendid hills of Monferrato. Everything will be prepared following the best local traditional recipes. We will prepare two different types of dough and, at the end, a dessert according to the season.

Itinerary

I'm chef Andrea, I was born in Tuscany but I live in Casapaletti, a small village on the beautiful hills of Monferrato, in Piedmont. Together we will create and taste excellent fresh pasta recipes with all the typical condiments. Together we will prepare the Piedmontese tajarin, the ravioli del plin and the pici di Siena. Under my guidance, you will prepare all types of pasta, learning the secrets of the best sauces for your fresh pasta recipes. The wines are selected by us from the best small local producers.

A true cooking experience, hands on, insightful and fun from beginning to end! Chef Andrea is not only a really good chef but also a really good teacher. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience!

Best Day Ever!

From the beginning, we were immersed in an Italian cooking experience. Fresh ingredients, techniques and wine tasting along the way, the final presentations was both beautiful and some of the best food we have had. The setting is in a beautiful location, overlooking the hills and countryside, very peaceful. Our host was fun, professional, interesting, respectful, and knowledgeable! We are so happy we had the opportunity to experience such a wonderful day!

Wonderful family experience in a local home

Andrea welcomed us into his home for pasta making. The 5 of us spent all afternoon here - made 3 types of pasta and a dessert. All were accompanied by local wines. He was very patient teaching us techniques including knife skills, blending herbs and flavors, and fine tuning pasta making. Conversation with Andrea was relaxing and we spoke about local products, climate impacts and world production of Italian products. This was an amazing day for our family.
