Do you like the sea and you want to learn how to snorkel and enjoy a beautiful day on Catalina Island? This island is the least visited, so it is very rich in fauna and flora. We highly recommend it because it is perfect for the whole family. This excursion is done in small groups, maximum 27 people.

Itinerary

  • Bayahibe

    A taxi will pick you up at your hotel or we will wait for you in Bayahibe, starting point of the excursion, to embark on our sailing catamaran suitable for all family members.

  • Catalina Island

    With the time to cross by motorized catamaran our first stop will be "the wall" a snorkeling site about 10 meters deep. Don't worry, you will be perfectly supervised so that the whole family can enjoy the small fish, even the beginners! The more adventurous ones will be able to move away to explore this magnificent underwater landscape, the most spectacular in the region. We will then leave for a second snorkeling stop near Catalina beach, "the Aquarium", at about 4 meters deep. Finally it's time for a well deserved meal and relaxation! On Catalina beach, relaxation, lazing around, swimming and more snorkeling for those who want more.

  • Rio Chavon

    Then, we'll get back on board our motorized catamaran and head for a completely different setting... You have probably heard of the movies RAMBO II, ANACONDA and KING KONG? You will be impressed by the river of Chavon where the shots were taken for the editing of these films. Attention, silence, it's shooting! Green and sumptuous nature, calm and tranquility will be at the rendez-vous. Finally, we will finish by returning along the coast where we will see the villas of the multi-millionaires of Casa de Campo to arrive in Bayahibe where your transport will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.

Terrific small group snorkeling excursion

Marina and the crew provided a great snorkelling experience. This is a smaller outfit and so it is limited to a small group. There were only 9 of us, which meant less time wasted getting in and out of the water and of course less crowded in the ocean. They were a super friendly bunch, spent time talking to each guest, and ensured we were well taken care of. I highly recommend visiting Catalina island with them if you love snorkelling!

What a super crew! From my initial enquiry that was promptly replied to, the excellent organisation of the day from hotel pick up to return home. The crew on board the catamaran very attentive, the whole day nicely paced, 2 good snorkelling spots and idyllic lunch stop with fabulous food, many thanks to marina, Justine and Manuel for a fabulous day!
