Overview

Take a 20 minutes round trip magical boat ride that cost $25us per person and IS INCLUSIVE WITH the transportation cost, through the glistening waters of the Luminous Lagoon in Falmouth Peninsula. As your private boat cruises around and then stops and anchors for 15 minutes. You can put your hands in the ocean or take a swim. When you engage with the water, it is disturbed and the organisms in the water glows and illuminates a beautiful blue color. Taking a boat ride out to the Peninsula where the Martha Brae River that’s coming from the home town area of our icon Usain Bolt end out in Falmouth, to see the micro organism lights up when you disturb it, either by staying in the boat and using your hands or taking a swim.

Excellent service from Jamaican Expetience Tour!

Our driver was on time for pick up, we got to see a little bit of the town then headed to our lagoon cruise. We felt very safe on the boat and really enjoyed our captain and his mates. The luminescence did not disappoint! It’s magical!! Our girls are 12 and 17 and agreed this excursion was a highlight of our trip! Highly recommend Leon and Jamaica Experience Tour!

Magical, unique experience - highly recommended! There aren’t many places in the world where you can do this.

Such a unique experience - there aren’t many places in the world where you can get in bioluminescent waters. It’s magical! At first, we thought the boat had a light underneath by the motor, but it didn’t. Captain Dave (aka Mr. Comfort, because he likes to keep his guests comfortable, and indeed, he did!) swirled the boat around in circles as we watched the waters light up. We jumped in and it was like we had glow sticks on our fingers and toes, but we didn’t. The more you moved, the more it lit up. So glad we did this, it was such a cool experience. Highly recommend!

Wow this is a must for all1 of only 3 luminous lagoons in the world and deffo worth every penny Swimming in it is amazing and the show afterwards is ace

This was the first excursion my boyfriend and I booked after landing in Mobay. Pickup and drop off was included and very easy to arrange. The staff had great vibes and were very knowledgeable. The lagoon was beautiful and it was definitely amazing to see the water glow naturally. You need to be in the moment, pictures are hard to capture. We weren’t swimmers so they filled a bucket with water from the lagoon so we could have a similar experience to those who decided to go swimming. I highly recommend this tour. Great for families, book it!

The trip was seamless. We had a good time getting there and returning with an experienced and careful driver. The crews on the water and on shore were awesome they kept us engaged, played games and music and they kept the rum punch flowing. I can't wait to go again.
