The Belvedere is one of the leading museums worldwide. Its famous art collection includes works ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day. Highlight at the Upper Belvedere is the collection of paintings by Klimt with the iconic Kiss and works by Schiele and Kokoschka. Opening times at the Upper Belvedere Mon-Sun 9am-6pm Entry ticket only (no guided tour included). Visitors may proceed to the museums entrance directly and enjoy their visit individually. Exhibition Highlights: Ongoing: Picture this! The Belvedere Collection from Cranach to Lassnig CARLONE CONTEMPORARY: Ugo Rondinone October 5, 2024 - March 16, 2025 CARLONE CONTEMPORARY: Sarah Ortmeyer March 27, 2025 - October 19, 2025 IM BLICK: Gustav Klimt. The Bride May 15, 2025 - October 5, 2025 For the upcoming facade renovation on the north and west sides of the Upper Belvedere, scaffolding will be erected. During this time, the entrance area will not be affected. This measure aims for completion by Q4 2024.

The app gives a lot of and useful information and advice. It was easy to book tickets with possibility to cancel up to 1 day before the visit. The Belvedere and Klimt exhibition are something "must see"!

Beautiful museum

Beautiful museum. The highlight is of course the Kiss but every piece is so nicely arranged and explained I could not get enough of everything. Make sure to get your ticket online to avoid the line. It takes about 2 hours if you want to take your time. It can also be finished in 1 hour if you just want to see Klimt.

Experienced both upper and lower Belvedere. Fantastic array of artwork and sculptures from prominent artists of several eras. Extremely interesting and well laid out. For those not too bothered by art - don’t bother with lower belvedere!

Nice palace, one of the top places to visit in Vienna. It is expensive but The exhibition is also amazing where you can see Gustav Klimt's famous painting The Kiss. I would suggest visiting early in the morning so you won't have to wait for the tickets and the museum will be less crowded.
