Overview

You will walk through the heart of the Montserrat Mountain Natural Park and arrive at one of the most beautiful places at 1100 m high, accompanied by a certified guide. Then, a "Boho" style picnic will be prepared in a wonderful environment, with unique views. This tour is the best way to enjoy nature and gastronomy at the same time.

Meeting points

1) Public transport: FGC train from Plaza España, line R5, to "Monistrol de Montserrat". Then take the De Montserrat Rack Railway to access the Monastery. You can get off at the "Montserrat-Aeri" stop and take the cable car. 2) Private transfer 3) Rental car

Itinerary

We will take a walking tour of approximately 3.5 kilometers, following the Torrent de Santa María until we reach the picnic location. Next, the guide will prepare the picnic that you can enjoy alone. When they have finished, they will notify the guide to take the return route, which is different from the outward route. You will be able to visit several hermitages that we will find along the way. The total route is about 7-8 kilometers and the positive slope is about 450 meters. The technical difficulty is medium (unpaved trails, rocky terrain), and the general difficulty is moderate, since there is this positive slope. You can request an easier route if you wish. During the hiking, our guide will explain the geological formation of the Montserrat mountain, its flora and fauna.

Great experience

Eugenia was great. Good communication to meet up. The lunch and view were phenomenal. We were not experienced hikers and Eugenia was very patient with us as parts of the hike are challenging. Overall it was an excellent experience.

This was one of the best excursions we have taken to date. Eugenia went above and beyond before, during, and following the excursion. The hike was beautiful and picnic was picture perfect and delicious. We cant think of a better way to experience the Montserrat mountain!
